The symposium on Convergence of Nanotechnology in Food Manufacturing (CoNFoMa) will focus on establishing a collective vision for linking cutting edge research in nanotechnology with food engineering across the food/water/energy (FEWS) spectrum. The focus for this event will be post harvest activities, food processing, food packaging, food waste, food safety, and sustainability issues at the FEWS nexus.

Free registration for CoNFoMa with COFE 2018 registration.

Registration to CoNFoMa only $170 (link coming soon, contact management team to register early)

CoNFoMa 2018 will merge with COFE 2018 (Conference of Food Engineering) organized by the Society of Food Engineering (SoFE) (link to COFE here).

Question the Correct Question?
One of the key highlights of CoNFoMa will be "25 intractable questions". Beginning on Sep 8th, 2018 CoNFoMa will host a two day targeted symposium focused on identification of intractable questions by top industry and academic experts. These intractable questions will be used to lay the foundation for future research roadmaps related to nanotechnology in sustainable food production and planetary health. A general schedule is below (speakers will be announced by May 1, 2018):

Sep 9, 2018-Merge with COFE 2018 (The Graduate Hotel)

CoNFoMa events will include technical sessions, roundtable discussions, and student activities at the annual 14th biannual CoFE conference in collaboration with SoFE.
